W.C. Van Sant

Of the firm of Miner & Van Sant, is an Ohio man, and hails from Columbus,
where he first saw the light of day in 1861. For a number of years, Mr. Van
Sant was connected with the Buckeye Buggy Company of Columbus, during the
last six of those years having charge of their carriage warerooms in San
Francisco, and being general agent for all of their business west of the

indomitable energy, Mr. Van Sant has made the new undertaking a success
from the start.

The firm deals in all kinds of hardware, tools and cutlery, and since their

hardware on the coast, surpassing anything of the kind in San Francisco.
