I. Lasky

The well-known and genial proprietor of the Boston Shoe Bazar has been
engaged in the retail shoe business for more than twenty years, therefore
when he talks shoes he knows whereof he speaks. Mr. Lasky was born in
Placer county thirty-five years ago, and is a Californian through and
through. Was married in 1879 and has two children, a boy and a girl. For
five years Mr. Lasky has been engaged at his present location, South First
street, in his present location, South First street, in building up one of
the best businesses in the county. He carries an assortment of goods to
meet the wants of all classes of trade, from the cheapest brogans to the
finest calf skin for the men, and from the lowest grade to the finest
hand-turned French kid for the ladies. The store is shortly to be entirely
refitted, and in the future an even larger stock will be carried than
hirtherto. Every pair of shoes has the price distinctly marked thereon so
that no mistakes are made.
