THE STORY OF THEIR SUCCESS.

------------------
A.R. Denike

Well known in the piano and organ business in this city, was born in San
Francisco, July 10, 1860. For nearly twenty years he has been engaged in
this line of business, for the past ten in San Jose where he is well and
favorably known. There is no more thoroughly experienced piano or
organ-tuner or repairer in this city than Mr. Denike who has, from time to
time, been connected with some of the leading establishments of San Jose.
He has recently become the manager of the branch house of Benjamin Curtaz &
Son of San Francisco, located at 88 East Santa Clara street, and under his
able management the new store will undoubtedly prosper. This firm handles
the famous Steck, Hardman, and also the Vose pianos; the Farraud & Votey
organs, and a full line of string and brass brass musical instruments.
Their ware-rooms are commodious and present an attractive appearance, and
once each month a free concert of a high order is given to the public.
Eminent musicians from San Francisco are engaged for these entertainments,
and they are fully appreciated by the cultivated audiences which assemble
to hear them. Mr. Deniko is married, is the father of three children, has a
pleasant home on McLaughlin avenue, and other property in this city. When
Messrs. Curtz & Son established their new store, they selected the right
man for the right place.
